Stewardship. Accountability. Community.
The Lawrence Public Library Board of Trustees supports the Library’s mission and helps ensure that its services, resources, and policies continue to meet the needs of the Lawrence community. Through responsible governance, advocacy, and oversight, the Board works to promote a welcoming, accessible, and forward-looking public library for all.
Board Members
The Board of Trustees is composed of community members and is chaired by the Mayor of Lawrence. Working in partnership with Library leadership, the Board helps support the long-term success of Lawrence Public Library and its commitment to serving the community. Board meetings provide an opportunity to review Library matters, discuss priorities, and conduct public business in an open and transparent setting.
