Bring your group to discover, learn, and explore.

Plan Your Visit

Depending on your group and the purpose of your visit, your experience may include:

Library Tour. Explore the Library, learn where resources and services are located, and discover what is available to your group.

Children’s Library Experience. Visit the Children’s Room and explore age-appropriate books, resources, spaces, and activities.

Teen Library Experience. Introduce teens to the Library’s spaces, collections, programs, technology, and resources available to them.

Storytime. Enjoy a staff-led storytime designed for younger visitors, when scheduling and staffing allow.

Books & Library Cards. Learn how to find and borrow Library materials. Groups may also request information about Library cards for participants.

Activities & Special Projects. Depending on staff availability, visits may include an educational activity, arts and crafts, or another special project.

Before You Submit Your Request

Plan Ahead
All group visit and field trip requests must be reviewed and confirmed by Library staff. Please allow 24–48 hours for a response.

Wait for Confirmation
Submitting this form does not confirm your visit. Your requested date and activities are subject to staff, space, and resource availability.

Planning to Borrow Books?
If students will be applying for Library cards and checking out materials during the visit, completed Library card applications should be submitted to the Library at least one week before the scheduled visit.

Larger Groups
Depending on the number of participants, the Library may recommend dividing a group into smaller groups or scheduling visits on more than one day.

Request a Group Visit

Tell us a little about your group and what you would like to experience during your visit. Library staff will review your request and contact you to confirm availability and discuss any necessary arrangements.

Please do not make transportation or other final arrangements until your visit has been confirmed by Library staff.

What Happens Next?

After your request is submitted, Library staff will review the information and contact you within approximately 24–48 hours. We may contact you to discuss your group size, requested activities, scheduling, accessibility needs, or other details that will help us prepare for your visit.

*Please keep in mind that when filling out a library card application for a minor, we need the minor’s information, not the parent’s.

*We recommend checking out one library book per child.

FYI: If you’d like students to check out books on the day of the visit, we will need to have the library card applications submitted to us at least a week prior.

Depending on the number of students, trip(s)/visits might have to be split into multiple days.

Please note that all visit and field trip requests must undergo review and confirmation by library staff. Kindly allow 24–48 hours for a response confirming the visit. Please be aware that adjustments may occur based on staffing levels and availability of materials. Thank you for your understanding.
