Information Services

The Information Services Department is the human-powered search engine for the Library. An extensive number of written and online resources are available to help members of the community find what they are looking for. Our staff is able to assist the with:

  • Using the online databases

  • Finding materials in the physical collection

  • Accessing free digital e-books, audiobooks, magazines and music 

  • Providing resources related to attaining citizenship

  • Learning about our services for the blind & print-disabled 

  • Browsing and learning about the Library’s health literacy initiative

  • Locating information and documents pertaining to local governance and elections

  • Registering members of the community for various library programs

  • And much more
